About Me

Johnna Hawes, MSW, LCSW-R, CCATP, ADHD-CCSP

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me!

I am a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the “R” psychotherapy privilege (LCSW-R), licensed to provide diagnoses and psychotherapy to individuals experiencing behavioral health concerns. I have been a provider of behavioral health services for over two decades in both New York and South Carolina.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the distinguished University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I hold a Masters in Social Work from the State University of New York at Albany.

Early in my career, I specialized in working with foster care children and their families. Following this, I provided therapeutic services to adults managing different mental health challenges in a variety of different settings, including both the hospital inpatient and outpatient settings.

As a seasoned clinician, I embrace a client-specific approach as I get to know each of my clients. Over the years I have learned that what works for other clients may not work for you. As we work together we will help you discover and strengthen your tools, adjusting our focus according to your most pressing needs.

Johnna Hawes, LCSW-R, CCATP, is also a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional.
